STEM Career Guides come and talk to our students about their STEM careers. This opens up lots of opportunities to our STARBASE students and the San Angelo community. If you are interested in being one of our STEM Career Guides, please contact us by filling out the form under the Volunteer tab.
Other volunteers come in on weekends to help prepare rockets for students to build, bind mission logs, or help in any other way they can. We also have some volunteers that are handy with woodwork and have volunteered their talents to create some equipment we use during our STARBASE lessons. Lt Col Watts and his son Preston made our Inertia tester that the students use when they discuss Newton's 1st Law. Maj Armstrong (USMC), made pedestals that we use everytime we build our rockets. Lots of volunteer hours have gone into making STARBASE Goodfellow an amazing program. Thank you to all our volunteers.
Starbase Goodfellow is a non-profit DoD program that provides Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics education to elementary schools.
