STARBASE Goodfellow is in its sixth year of STEM education for the 2023-2024 school year. Fifth graders from Christoval ISD, San Angelo ISD, Miles ISD, Bronte ISD, Veribest ISD, Wall ISD, Grape Creek ISD and other local Private schools have visited and continue to visit our facility each year. Each student attends for 25 hours over a five day period. Every day consists of hands-on STEM instruction that engages every student and inspires them to want to learn more about Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Students are also exposed to guest speakers that expose them to many STEM careers located at Goodfellow AFB and our surrounding community.
