Rocket Launching Days

During students 5 days spent at STARBASE Goodfellow, they will learn about Newton’s Laws by launching rockets. Volunteers are needed to set up launchers and help students launch rockets. It is important for our students to interact with positive role models. Rocket launching is always a great day but our volunteers make it even better.

Upcoming Rocket Launching Days:

  • Dates will be announced as new school schedule is set.

Volunteers can come by Bldg. 901 at 1300 to help set up launchers. Launching will be finished by 1400.

If interested in volunteering for Rocket Launching contact us at 325-654-4740, email us @ starbasegoodfellow@samfa.org, or fill out the contact form at the bottom of the page.

Stem Career Presenter

Our curriculum is based on the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) content areas. One of our goals is to encourage students to consider a career field in these areas.  We are always in need of volunteers to talk to our 5th grade students about their career to spark interest in that field.

Available Career Guide Dates:

  • Dates will be announced as new school schedule is set.

Most of our presenters talk to two groups of students for 30 minutes each.

If interested in being a STEM Career Presenter contact us at 325-654-4740, email us @ starbasegoodfellow@samfa.org, or fill out the contact form below.
